The world changes like drawings in a kaleidoscope. Change, not stasis, is our usual condition, the constant of our life. Here then is the need to prepare tools that allow organizations to live with change and navigate complexity. We must accept continuous change and the necessary change of perspective: interconnection against separation, exponentiality against linearity, discontinuity against continuity. To anticipate the future, advanced approaches are needed that go beyond traditional forecasting models based on the forward projection of past experiences. These advanced, so-called foresight methods build possible scenarios considering the multiplicity of those present, the weak signals, the emerging trends and the possible paths of evolution. Corporate Foresight is fundamental for interpreting and guiding changes. The book presents the two pillars on which foresight is based: organization and management.
