Every human being can consider the goal of profoundly improving not only their knowledge but also their cognitive and emotional abilities realistic and achievable.
SPRING is the name of a self-training course to increase one's cognitive, emotional and relational skills at a strategic level. This is not a problem solving program; on the other hand, it is at the origin of any competence development, representing access to the full use of one's personal resources from a cognitive and emotional point of view.
The book contains the description of the model which, among other things, explains how strengths and weaknesses can be related to specific individual personalities. It also contains examples of types of problems that develop different skills and the list of twenty-nine mental operations to train.
The results of the research, conducted on a sample of subjects - academics and company staff - on the impact that the program can determine, are presented in the appendix.
Also thanks to the style that makes it easy to read, the text is aimed at all people who want to improve their performances, but above all find out what their cognitive potentials are: educators, teachers and parents will be able to reflect on the responses produced by their children and add references and ideas to the personal way of interacting with them; executives and HR managers will discover a new strand of training activities.
