Research


Professional Membership and Activities

  • Area Editor of Operations Management Research (OMR) and member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management (JPSM). Previously: Associate Editor of the Journal of Operations Management (JOM). Reviewer for these and many other international journals.

  • He has published in a number of leading academic and practitioner journals, including the Journal of Operations Management, Research Policy, OMEGA, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, and  International Journal of Production Research.

  • He has been member of the scientific committee of several editions of the European Operations Management Association(EurOMA) Conferences, the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (Ipsera) Conferences, and the Doctoral Workshop on Purchasing and Supply Management – IPSERA Italian Nodes Conference as well as of some editions of the European Decision Sciences Institute Conferences.

  • He is Member of AiIG – Associazione italiana di Ingegneria Gestionale, EurOMA – European Operations Management Association, of IPSERA – International Purchasing & Supply Education & Researc, POMS – Productions and Operations Management Society, and other Scientific Associations.

  • He cooperates with several International Research Institutions, including: CRISPS – Centre for Research in Strategic Purchasing and Supply (University of Bath), Carlson School of Management (Minnesota University); Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University) Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), Rotman School of Management (Toronto University).

  • He is member of the High Performance Manufacturing (HPM) international research project, co-ordinated by Prof. R. G. Schroeder (University of Minnesota). This project involves researchers belonging to 11 American, European and Japanese Universities.

  • He has co-chaired of the 8th Annual Conference of the European Decision Sciences Institute (EDSI 2018).
